The NKCA Community Platform program gives users free online access to extensive and current socio-economic data. Users are able to map data down to the census tract level, download databases, and create maps, charts, and tables. With its simple and interactive interface, the NKCA Community Platform allows users to easily upload their own data sets, plot their data points using major streets and topographical features and shift between thematic maps based on different variables. The NKCA Distributed Community Platform provides a one-stop website where users can gather a wide range of data for their neighborhood, service area, or other geographic regions up to the city, county, state, and national levels. Among its major features are:

  • Map at the Census Tract, City, County, State levels . . .
  • Or map by State Assembly & Senate or Congressional District . . .
  • Or create your own customized neighborhood data map
  • Online database includes 2000 Census and 2003 HMDA data
  • Easily create and map your own datasets in Excel or Access
