Sable Beltran

Sable hails from San Diego, California and is a senior at the University of California, San Diego where she is majoring in Urban Studies and Planning. Sable believes urban planning, and particularly affordable housing development, is a powerful way to make a positive change in the lives of real, everyday people. Her planning background has also given her a passion for transportation planning, urban design, and public policy and she looks forward to seeing how these other elements play into affordable housing development. Sable is setting an example for her younger siblings by being the first in her family to earn a bachelor’s degree.

She is thrilled to work directly in the day-to-day functions of both development and asset management at Community HousingWorks through the CCRH Internship Program, and she is excited to grow her understanding of affordable housing through hands-on learning.
