Vanesa Donangtavanh

Vanesa Donangtavanh is a child of Lao refugees, born in Argentina and raised in Fresno, California. Her journey in community service and development began early, shaped by the kindness and support of those around her.
Vanesa studied psychology at Fresno City College and Fresno State, where she also completed the Humanics program. Her passion for giving back led her to join Circle K International, a volunteer club dedicated to service. After an internship at Self-Help Enterprises through the CCRH internship program, she transitioned to full-time work there, advancing from Project Technician to Project Manager.
Her experience encompasses affordable housing, policy development, and community building, including time spent at UC Davis pursuing a master’s degree in Community Development. She believes that housing is the foundation for a stable and thriving life and is committed to using her skills to contribute to programs that create real impact.
