Asher Meklin

Asher is a senior at UC Santa Cruz with a major in History. Born and raised in Oakland, he is currently an intern at MidPen Housing in Watsonville, CA, working on the development of affordable housing projects, primarily located in Santa Cruz County. Asher is interested in and driven towards community building and development, both on a local and on a broader scale, in order to ensure that as many people as possible are able to access safety, stability, and community. Outside of academics or work, you can find him reading or learning to sail.
