Bella is a graduating senior at California State University, Chico pursuing a degree in Political Science and Public Administration, minoring in Criminal Justice. Born and raised in San Jose, California, a high-cost area, Bella has seen first-hand the housing instability in her community and the impact of social support services. This ignited her spark to explore public policy and one of the main reasons she found her path towards Affordable Housing. Bella is currently a project manager intern at the Community Housing Improvement Program where she supports the Rental Housing team on housing projects across Butte county. Bella is passionate about making a difference in her community and ensuring everyone has access to quality housing. Bella would love to go back to the community that raised her and contribute to Affordable Housing Development and services.
