Jose Cruz Lopez is a recent graduate from California State University, Chico with majors in Political Science, Communication Studies, and a minor in Psychology. Jose was born in the San Fernando Valley but raised in the central valley of California.

Being from a rural area , Jose observed the inequities of rural housing provision for low income working families, including his own.
